Gaspard Le Roux

Le Roux was among the finest harpsichordists of his period. A fine exemplory case of his function is usually his =Items de clavessin=, a couple of dances for the key pad. A unique feature of the works is usually that Le Roux also offered transcriptions from the items for other single instruments where the harpsichord or trio supplies the lacking parts. His compositional function is known as definitive for the key pad in 17th-century France.
