As Gary War, Brooklyn’s Greg Dalton makes warped garage-synth-prog-pop that owes as very much to Chrome since it does to Syd Barrett while conveying an urgency all his very own. Gary War’s debut record, New Raytheonport, found its way to 2008 on SHDWPLY/Disaro in a restricted model of 500 copies, presenting listeners towards the druggiest edition of his music and including an Alan Parsons Project cover on top of that. Human Teenager’s recording Animal Husbandry showed up early in 2012 on Range Spools, the imprint of Emeralds’ John Elliott. Range Spools also released War’s third recording, Jared’s Great deal, issuing it in July 2012.
