Gary Crosby

b. 26 January 1955, London, Britain. Given birth to in London of Jamaican parents, and nephew from the unjustly-neglected guitarist Ernest Ranglin, Crosby was (plus a few others, just like the good tenor saxophonist Ray Carless) among the pioneer dark British jazz skills, making his status before the picture blossomed so significantly in the middle-80s. He started to research trumpet at age 13, although he previously performed around on several other instruments in the home. He required trumpet lessons at a community center in Fulham for two years, but consequently turned to bass, learning with Peter Ind between your age groups of 19 and 23.
