Gail Thompson

A gifted Uk baritone player, composer, flutist, and big-band leader, Gail Thompson’s music is related to that of Quincy Jones or Abdullah Ibrahim. Along with her hard bop jazz audio, she stirs within a soulful contact of African nature and rhythm. Close to the end from the ’80s, Thompson journeyed by vehicle through Africa to attain Kenya. The knowledge clearly still left its mark on her behalf compositions. Thompson provides performed with Artwork Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, the Charlie W Orchestra, as well as the Country wide Youth Orchestra; she’s proved helpful for Mick Jagger’s music business as movie director, and she was the creator of an Britain group referred to as the Jazz Warriors big music group.
