Gadsby & Skol

Gadsby & Skol, comprising guitarist/vocalist Chuck Gadsby, drummer/vocalist Rick Skol, and bassist Drew Tjernstrom, played in the Toronto area in the later ’60s and early ’70s, helping some going to acts, but never really had an album released. About 30 years afterwards, they proceeded to go in the studio room to record the materials they had performed in their first incarnation. The tracks in the 2001 Compact disc Gadsby & Skol, all first save for just one, are large blues-psychedelic-rock, seriously indebted to Blue Cheer, also to a smaller extent Cream and Jimi Hendrix.
