G.T. Moore

A favorite act in London’s pub and golf club circuit through the early 70s, this quintet comprised former Heron member Gerald ‘GT’ Moore (b. Gerald Thomas Moore, 2 Might 1949, Reading, Berkshire, Britain; acoustic guitar/vocals), Martin Hayward (acoustic guitar), Tim Jones (keyboards), Tom Whyte (bass), Tony Hannaford, Tom Robinson, and Malcolm Mortimore (drums). Their melodic mixture of rock and roll and reggae was partly captured within the device’s self-titled debut, released in 1974, but like many contemporaries, GT Moore were not able to commit a live exhilaration to record. Their musicianship, nevertheless, was never involved and Whyte, Hayward and Moore produced telling efforts to contemporaneous produces by Shusha. Tony Braunagal changed Mortimore for Reggae Blue, but by this aspect the group was dropping impetus and it had been dissolved in 1977. Following the demise from the music group Moore concentrated on the career like a program player supporting performers such as Vehicle Morrison and Johnny Nash. His use Nash resulted in the forming of the Tempo Tramps. In 1980 Moore travelled to Jamaica where he documented ‘Utopia’ at Harry J.’s studio room. The experience resulted in the forming of the Outsiders which toured European countries and documented an unreleased recording. Following the disbanding from the Outsiders, Moore relocated to London where he started dealing with Eric Burdon. With the 90s Moore acquired formed a web link using the Jah Functions label which was particularly favored by the gabba gabba dub supporters. His association with the brand new aficionados led to a web link up with Zion Teach. Over time Moore provides released some albums and has generated up a substantial European fanbase.
