G-Force was the brainchild of ex-Skid Row, Colosseum II, and Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore (b. Robert William Gary Moore, 4 Apr 1952, Belfast, North Ireland). After departing Thin Lizzy soon after playing for the music group’s Dark Rose in 1979, Moore going for LA using the purpose of forming a fresh group there. He teamed up with some trustworthy local music artists and, not really wishing in those days to become referred to as the Gary Moore Music group, they thought we would travel beneath the moniker of G-Force. Becoming a member of Moore with this task had been Tony Newton (vocals), Willie Dee (bass) and Tag Nauseef (drums). The music group performed some low-key gigs around the LA area and authorized to Jet Information, for whom they released their debut recording in 1980. A cut of melodic hard rock and roll with definite industrial prospects, it however flopped. The music group folded immediately after its launch, with Moore resuming his single career.
