Future Shock

Inveterate remixers amid England’s active dance picture, Futureshock came up in the fold from the country’s esteemed dance label, Junior Children Own, house to Underworld as well as the Chemical substance Brothers. Produced by Birmingham natives Alex Tepper and Phil Dockerty, the action initially elevated its profile with remixes of Moby and Chemical substance Brothers, and a co-writing work with Underworld over the one “Issue (Why Why Why).” Tepper and Dockerty’s label Fuju started placing out Futureshock materials in 2000, led by “Sparc,” which popped up in pieces from a large number of DJs including Carl Cox and Nick Warren. The duo’s initial full-length, Phantom Theory, made an appearance on Junior in March of 2003.
