Future of Forestry

Led by multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Eric Owyoung, Long term of Forestry is usually a Christian indie rock-band who combine a sincere, literate, spiritual meaning with low-key ambient music offering acoustic and electronic elements. Called for any poem by C.S. Lewis, Long term of Forestry was created in the wake from the separation of another group, SOMETHING SIMILAR TO Silas, that was created in 2000 and presented Owyoung and his wife, Malina Owyoung. When the Owyoungs’ relationship fell apart, therefore did SOMETHING SIMILAR TO Silas, and in 2006 Eric Owyoung announced he was developing a new music group with a fresh musical direction. In the beginning, Long term of Forestry presented the same lineup as the ultimate edition of SOMETHING SIMILAR TO Silas, but as the group advanced and Owyoung explored fresh suggestions, he became the just constant person in the music group, with Owyoung recruiting different units of musicians for every recording task and concert tour. Long term of Forestry struck a cope with Credential Recordings, a Christian alternate label written by EMI (the same label experienced courted SOMETHING SIMILAR TO Silas), as well as the group released its self-titled debut EP in 2006. Their 1st full-length recording, Twilight, made an appearance in 2007, but also for the next many years, Owyoung and his collaborators centered on some EPs, the Travel series, with three quantities released between 2009 and 2010. Another EP series, Introduction, specialized in Christmas-themed music, debuted in 2008, with extra installments appearing this year 2010 and 2013. In 2011, the Travel series was gathered about the same album, THE ENTIRE Travel Series, as the same season, the group released another compilation, A Film and Television Collection, a limited-edition sampler of music Owyoung designed for visible mass media. For the 2012 record SON Follow, Owyoung released his very own label, Audio Swan Information; he also opened up a studio using the same name, where he done Potential of Forestry tasks aswell as saving and mixing function for other performers.
