Future Brown

Production crew Potential Brown includes Asma Maroof and Daniel Pineda (aka Nguzunguzu), Fatima Al-Qadiri (aka Ayshay), and J-Cush (operator of Lit Town Trax). The group pulls from several types of rhythmic digital music, including dancehall, grime, reggaeton, bass, and footwork, aswell as overground noises from rap and R&B. Authorized to Warp, they produced their documented debut in November 2014 having a four-track EP which they presented Tink, 3D Na’Tee, Prince Quick, Dirty Risk, and Roachee. One-track solitary “Talkin Bandz” was out by year’s end with Shawnna and DJ Victoriouz around the mike. A self-titled recording was released the next February with extra guest looks from Kelela, Sicko Mobb, and Timberlee, amongst others.
