Furthest Drive Home

Melodic pop-punk band Furthest Drive House were among several groups to emerge from Surrey in southeast England through the early years from the 21st century, as the spot became a hotbed for fresh talent. Furthest Drive House were created in 2003 by Joe Raggett on vocals, acoustic guitar, and key pad; Tommy H on bass; and Wayne Green on percussion. Furthest Drive House briefly played like a trio, but following the bandmembers fulfilled guitarist Jim McCarthey, he was recruited in to the group in 2004 and they’ve worked well like a four-piece since. In 2005, Furthest Travel Home released their first countrywide tour, placed saturated in a competition sponsored from the organizers from the Flavor of Chaos touring celebration, and appeared on the compilation disk from Drive-Thru Information. In middle-2006, Furthest Get House released their debut EP, Shed in Genre, and in early 2007 Hungry Children Records agreed upon the music group to a documenting agreement. Furthest Drive Home’s initial release because of their brand-new label was a six-song EP, THE ENTIRE First Series, and since that time they’ve toured with famous brands the Utilized, Rise Against, and Funeral for a pal. The band produced its American debut using a showcase on the 2008 South by Southwest Music Meeting.
