Fuhrs & Frohling

Führs & Fröhling were two-thirds from the eclectic German group Schicke Führs Fröhling that continued saving after that music group split up in 1979 upon the departure of drummer Eduard Schicke. The all-instrumental music group highlighted guitarist Heinz Fröhling and keyboardist Gerhard Führs. Documenting with out a drummer, the duo created even more ambient and stripped-down noises than their mother or father music group, often with stunning classical guitar from Fröhling. Sometimes lacking, occasionally outstanding, the band’s initial album, Ammerland, premiered in 1978. The music group added drums (a few of which were performed by Führs) on the sophomore work, Strings (1979), which noticed them build down the even more progressive sounds of the previous record for experiments in a number of styles. Dairy (1981) was the duo’s last effort and found them move back again toward their root base.
