Frost

The blissful electronica duo Frost comes from the town of Tromsø, situated in the far north of Norway. Vocalist Aggie E. Peterson and instrumentalist Per Martinsen initial brought Frost towards the public’s interest in 1998 using the “Clouds Over the Moon” one released over the Sony imprint Drum Isle. By the finish of the entire year they released their full-length debut, Bedsit Ideas, but it didn’t earn them very much interest beyond their homeland. Following a very long break, they reappeared in 2002 using the limited-edition “Pharmacy” solitary, their 1st for their personal FrostWorldRecordings label. Items really became popular if they released the follow-up solitary “Amygdala,” which presented remixes by Atom Center, Qwerty, along with a “silent” blend by Björn Torske (he under no circumstances delivered the duo his blend so they included a tabs on silence and attributed it to him). In 2003 Frost released another recording, Melodica, while also beginning focus on a cooperation with Sri Lanka’s Salangai Narthanalayam dance group for a well planned 2004 concert in Oslo.
