Front Porch Step

A solo acoustic automobile for Newark, Ohio-based singer/songwriter Jake McElfresh, Front side Porch Step delivers candid, emotionally charged punk-folk in the vein of Dashboard Confessional, Town and Color, and Tim Barry. McElfresh released his debut EP, Endearment, beneath the moniker in 2012, adopted soon by another EP, So Help Me God. He garnered significant on-line compliment for his YouTube rendition from the track “Island from the Misfit Boy,” which captured the hearing of Pure Sound and eventually got him an archive offer. His debut long-player for the label, Aware, was released in the summertime of 2014. Then became a member of the lineup from the Pure Sound Sound Information tour. A couple of months after the launch of his debut, McElfresh became the main topic of intimate harassment allegations that surfaced online and which have been made by many ladies, including some underage ladies. Subsequently, McElfresh suspended all touring. He ultimately posted a note on Facebook wanting to apologize and clarify the situation, and he continued indefinite hiatus. During this time period, he produced one appearance: a free of charge live show in the Nashville quit from the Van’s Warped Tour on July 1, 2015 that was purportedly arranged by tour administration within the singer’s ongoing guidance treatment. Regardless of the allegations, no costs had been brought against McElfresh. Approximately a season after producing his Warped appearance, McElfresh announced his formal return to executing with discharge from the spiritually minded one “Help Me Harm.” In 2017, he released his sophomore full-length record, I Under no circumstances Loved Before I CAME ACROSS You, including the singles “Burnt,” “Rocks,” and “Ideal Man.”
