From Both Ends of the Earth

From Both Ends of the planet earth is a Toronto-based music group who has klezmer music melded with jazz and R&B influences. Pianist Marilyn Lerner, saxophonist/clarinetist Sasha Boychouk, and bassist/banjo participant Daniel Koulack founded the group and had been later joined up with by vocalist David Wall structure (of Traveling Bulgar Klezmer Music group) and percussionist Rick Shadrach Lazar (of Montuno Law enforcement). The music group attracts from traditional Ukrainian and Yiddish music to make original music that incorporate contemporary musical forms while keeping a solid klezmer audio. From Both Ends from the Earth’s debut record arrived in July 1999, and the next summer months the group embarked on the first tour, striking folk celebrations across Canada.
