Boston punk-pop act Frigate was formed in 1997 by siblings Linda Bean (bass) and John Bean (drums). Spawned from regional rock rings Permafrost and Headcleaner, both Coffee beans recruited guitarists Tim Gillis and Chris Lauria (from Slapshot), and released Blow Me Down on Rotating Records.
