Friedemann Eichhorn

Friedemann Eichhorn is a German violinist known for his wide-ranging repertoire, which extends from Baroque music to contemporary tangos. Students of Valery Gradow on the Mannheim School of Music, he continued with Yehudi Menuhin’s suggestion to review with Alberto Lysy on the International Menuhin Music Academy. He continuing his studies on the Juilliard College of Music, learning violin with Margaret Pardee, chamber music with Earl Carlyss and Samuel Sanders, and performing with Miguel Harth Bedoya. Eichhorn gained his Ph.D. in musicology and laws on the Johannes Gutenberg School in Mainz. Among the orchestras he provides performed with will be the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Mannheim Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Gustav Mahler Youngsters Orchestra. Being a chamber musician, Eichhorn provides collaborated with Julius Berger, Alexander Huelshoff, José Gallardo, Gerhard Oppitz, and Thomas Müller-Pering. He’s also a violin teacher and director from the strings plan on the Liszt College of Music at Weimar, and shows master classes on the School of Music in Vienna, the International Summer months Academy from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Guildhall College of Music in London, as well as the Gustav Mahler Academy in Bozen. Eichhorn provides recorded thoroughly for Naxos, Haenssler, and Oehms Classics.
