Fresh Blueberry Pancake

Pittsburgh power trio Clean Blueberry Pancake shaped in 1968, comprising singer/bassist Tony Impavido, guitarist John Behrens, and drummer Geoff Reidell. After 2 yrs of regional gigging, the group developed enough of the group of fans and enough first materials to record a demonstration tape, and in 1970 they self-released Large — issued within a pressing of simply 54 copies, the record is currently very much sought-after among enthusiasts of plodding, monolithic acidity rock and roll. (The Shadoks label reissued Large in 2003.) Following the album’s discharge the group abbreviated its name to Pancake, dissolving in 1972.
