French for Rabbits certainly are a dreamy indie folk duo from Wellington, New Zealand. Originally hailing from the city of Waikuku Seaside around the country’s South Isle, airy-voiced vocalist/songwriter Brooke Vocalist teamed up with guitarist John Fitzgerald in 2011 and both began documenting and performing collectively, eventually producing the progress to the administrative centre. With an charming, misty audio evoking their maritime area, they produced their debut in 2012 using the six-song Stated by the ocean EP released around the Wellington-based House Alone Information collective. They spent the next 12 months touring both in New Zealand and throughout European countries and in past due 2013 they released a new solitary called “Goat” before their forthcoming full-length debut. With House Alone still managing their music in the home, the music group struck a cope with American indie Lefse Information and shipped their 1st LP, Spirits, in Oct 2014.
