Franz Nicolay

Franz Nicolay is a multi-instrumentalist and manufacturer located in Brooklyn. Absurdly prolific and continuously working, Nicolay continues to be involved being a program participant, arranger, collaborator, touring entity, and long-term person in countless bands, aswell as maintaining a dynamic solo profession. Nicolay started playing piano and accordion in the long-running circus punk collective Globe/Inferno Friendship Culture in 2000 and used the music group for seven years. Another of his significant gigs was as keyboardist/support vocalist for the booze-soaked working-class rock and roll from the Keep Steady, a posture he kept from 2005 until 2010. Furthermore to these rings, Nicolay proved helpful intermittently with Guignol, a Gypsy-punk music group he founded with clarinetist Peter Hess in 2002, aswell as Anti-Social Music, a non-profit collective he founded in 2001 with a bunch of various other N.Con.C.-region music artists and composers.
