On August 9, 1998, Salsa dropped among its very best singers, Frankie Ruiz, to liver failing, which based on various assets, resulted from problems from the AIDS computer virus. Among the first to execute within the Salsa Sensual design, Ruiz had performed a major part within the resurgence of salsa’s recognition within the ’70s. A indigenous of Patterson, NJ, Ruiz started singing at an extremely early age. He was still a kid when he produced his documenting debut with Charlie Lopez y Su Orquesta. Shifting, with his mom, to Puerto Rico in 1965, he became enamored from the music of a favorite salsa music group, La Solucion. Departing La Solucion in the first ’70s, Ruiz recognized an invitation to become listed on Tommy Olivencia’s orchestra. Through the 3 years that he spent using the group, he have scored a major strike, “La Duda.” Ruiz released his solo profession within the middle-’80s. Despite his apparent talents being a vocalist, Ruiz was suffering from drug and alcoholic beverages dependency along with a thirst for hard living.
