Biography

Jazz crooner Frankie Randall was created Frank Lisbona in Clifton, NJ. After starting classical piano research at age seven, he migrated to jazz as a teenager, getting a music scholarship or grant from Fairleigh Dickinson College or university. Upon graduating, Randall started performing on the famed NEW YORK nightclub Jilly’s, possessed by Frank Sinatra confidante Jilly Rizzo. Undoubtedly Sinatra captured Randall’s work, and his enthusiastic compliment resulted in a recording cope with RCA. Randall’s 1964 debut, Frankie Randall Sings and Swings, matched him with arranger Marty Paich, a cooperation that continuing a season later along with his sophomore work, Frankie Randall at It Once again! After producing his feature film debut in 1965’s Crazy in the Seaside, the vocalist shifted gears and teamed with arranger Billy Might for his 4th LP, 1966’s Heading the Frankie Randall Method! Releases including I RECALL You and The Mods as well as the Pops implemented, and through the entire past due ’60s and early ’70s Randall was a fixture of the tv screen talk present circuit. After greater than a 10 years of touring casinos throughout the world, in 1982 he started an open-ended engagement on the Golden Nugget in Atlantic Town. After a season, owner Steve Wynn called Randall the casino’s entertainment movie director, and he spent another nine years seeking his executive profession, finally time for executing in 1991 to record the LP Frankie Randall Sings Steve Allen. In 1997 Sinatra officially bestowed his definitive preparations upon Randall, leading to the creation of his long-running “Tribute to Sinatra” stage present.
