Frankie Jones

b. Greenwich Plantation, Kingston, Jamaica, Western Indies. Affected by local superstars including Brent Dowe, Tony Brevette, Tapper Zukie and Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith, Jones arranged his sights on the career like a vocalist. In 1978, he started recording at Route One and loved his first strike with ‘Sweeten My Espresso’. Through the past due 70s and early 80s he performed within the live circuit within the fashionable north coastline of Jamaica. From the middle-80s Jones was back the studio documenting with Errol ‘Myrie’ Lewis and John Marshall. In 1984, he loved strikes with ‘Negotiate For Me’, ‘Greatest Like’, ‘Modelling Woman’ along with DJ Screecha Good, ‘Get FROM My Existence’. A cooperation with Triston Palma, who experienced enjoyed success like a dancehall vocalist, led to recording classes at Music Hill and Harry J. The classes had been supervised by Keith Wignall with Robbie Lynn and Sylvan Morris. The productions had been released in the united kingdom as The Greatest Of Frankie Jones Quantity One and included ‘Nice Leoni’, ‘Mr Poor Boy’ and ‘Vegetarian’. The compilation confusingly presented a photograph from the famous drummer and film celebrity Leroy ‘Horsemouth’ Wallace within the cover, with Jones in the backdrop.
