Frank & Tony had been Francisco Diaz and Anthony Wright, a Philadelphia-spawned folk duo who initial met near Rittenhouse Square through the early ’60s. Both had been associated with folk music at that time, though Wright — who was simply elevated among the Algonquins and acquired performed a hitch in the Marines, and who was simply proficient on both electric guitar and percussion — viewed himself as mainly a vocalist, while Diaz, who sang, viewed himself as principally a guitarist. The truth is, neither was a slouch on any device he performed, and both could sing up a surprise. The duo was predicated on the East Coastline and documented one album, Right into a Thing, a calypso-flavored collection, for Mercury Information in 1964. The duo doesn’t appear to possess endured at night end from the folk increase during the middle-’60s.
