A wild and talented Toronto guitarist/vocalist using a frenzied love of life, Soda may be the Great Light North edition of Frank Zappa. With support from bassist Charles Towers and drummer John Lechausser, Frank Soda pop & the Imps debuted with In the Pipe in 1979 along with a self-titled platter in 1980. Soda’s displays included bizarre getups and climaxed using a tv exploding on his mind. Soda caused Canadian ingenue Lee Aaron on her behalf inaugural, The Lee Aaron Task, which also included associates of Triumph and Santers. Soda pop used program players for Sunday Night Holiday and slipped out of view after Adventures of the Sodaman in 1983. Soda pop relocated to Vancouver in 1987 for family members reasons, and even though he is constantly on the play live, he’s been pretty peaceful from a documenting perspective, in addition to the High Instances compilation, released in 1986.
