Dominican bachata-merengue singer Frank Reyes had his breakthrough following Sony released his album Estelares de Frank Reyes in Sept 2, 1997. Referred to as Bachata’s prince, Frank Reyes attained a Casandra award, a significant local recognition, in addition to getting nominated by Acroarte, the Dominican artwork journalists association, for greatest Bachata performer. After issuing 1998’s Vine a Decirte Adios, the exotic artist came back with 1999’s Extraño Mi Pueblo, made by himself and Rafael Núñez, later on, getting into the brand new millenium with Amor en Silencio.
