Frank Popp

Affected by spy music and organ-heavy go-go soul from the ’60s and ’70s, but powered from the same massive is better than that fueled pop golf club crossovers like Fatboy Thin and Pizzicato Five, the Frank Popp Outfit began like a studio task of German DJ Frank Popp. After several effective singles, the once conceptual “ensemble” became possible by enough time of their 2001 debut full-length, Trip On. The eclectic mixture of upbeat mod spirit and kitschy pop was popular in European countries and resulted in several songs through the album being found in advertisements. Since their preliminary success, Popp continues to be active with remix function and the Outfit successfully toured European countries in 2003. In 2005 a fresh EP entitled The Swinging Library Audio of … the Frank Popp Outfit premiered in the U.K.
