Frank Orchard

Frank Orchard was an excellent Dixieland-oriented trombonist who, although a secured asset with many organizations over time, never gained very much popularity. Originally he performed violin, after that banjo and tuba, before switching to trombone. Orchard researched at Juilliard from 1932-33 and performed to get a yr with Stanley Melba’s music group, but then worked well beyond music completely (mostly like a salesman) until 1941.
