Frank Nitt

From the past due J Dilla and an associate from the revered Detroit underground, Frank Nitt (delivered Frank Bush) released his job in the past due ’90s, signing up for fellow rapper Dankery Harv in the group Frank-n-Dank. After credit scoring an underground strike using the 2000 monitor “Everybody GET RIGHT UP!,” the duo would property on Dilla’s Welcome 2 Detroit record (2001) before putting your signature on a cope with main label MCA. In 2003, their Dilla-produced formal debut record, 48 Hours, was turned down with the label and quickly became a bootleg preferred using the hip-hop faithful. It’s non-release would also decrease the band, while not its people, with both Nitt — occasionally using the traditional gangster spelling Frank Nitty — and Harv both liberating solo attempts. Frank would drop The Concert Hall EP in 2008 around the Digipop label, while his 2010 EP Jewels in my own Backpack would property on Delicious Vinyl fabric. A year later on he would sign up for maker Madlib for Medication Display No. 9: Route 85 Presents Nittyville, a conceptual recording that was also a part of Madlib’s ambitious 13-recording Medicine Display series. In 2012 he penned a brief (48 webpages) memoir entitled The View from your Underground. It had been incorporated with the product packaging of this year’s Digipop recording Stadium Music. After Frank-n-Dank’s dropped work 48 Hours got the official launch in 2013 via Great tasting Vinyl, Nitt came back to his personal career using the recording Frankie Rothstein. The single LP featured creation from Dilla, DJ Rhettmatic, and J-Rocc.
