Frank Lenz started taking drum lessons when he was eight yrs . old. An all natural, he was quickly working like a program musician. After using several indie rings, Lenz created his original are a single musician, combining the pop of Burt Bacharach using the rock and roll of Steely Dan, alongside jazz fusion and Stevie Wonder-style R&B. “Playing drums is usually all I ever wished to perform,” Lenz offers stated, and by age 13, he started his career like a studio room drummer. He continued to try out in bands like the Lassie Basis, Duraluxe, and Charity Empressa. His 1st solo recording, a full-length of initial material known as The Warm Stuff, was documented in three times at the Fantastic Green Space in Huntington Seaside, CA. The catchy R&B-meets-pop collection premiered on Northern Information in 2001. In 2002, he thought we would self-release his second recording, The Last Enticement of Frank Lenz, but caused Velvet Blue Music for 2004’s Conquest Slaughter. After hanging out documenting with Starflyer 59 and touring with Pedro the Lion, Lenz came back to the studio room for his following recording, 2006’s Vilelenz and Thieves, on Parasol Information.
