Francesco Yates

At age 11, Toronto’s Francesco Yates found that music is actually a viable profession. After watching College of Rock and roll, he signed up for “rock and roll camp” and discovered piano and acoustic guitar. In senior high school, he became a member of the band. Use his vocal trainer resulted in his supervisor, Chris Smith (Nelly Furtado, JoJo), and by age group 16 he was authorized with Atlantic Information. Wielding a formidable falsetto and a like for funk, he installed with Pharrell Williams — playing acoustic guitar on Williams’ melody “Gust of Blowing wind” with Daft Punk — who continued to create Yates’ first record along with Robin Hannibal (Kendrick Lamar, Jessie Ware, Cee Lo). A short group of singles (“Contact” and “When I CAME ACROSS You”) premiered in 2014, using a self-titled EP pursuing in 2015. Singles “No one AS IF YOU” and “Honey I’m House” resulted in a Heatseeker prize on the Canadian Radio Music Honours.
