Francesca Tanksley

b. 21 November 1957, Vincenza, Italy. Although delivered in Italy Tanksley was raised in Munich, Germany, where she examined music from age seven. She visited Boston when she was 16 to review piano and structure at Berklee University Of Music; after that two years afterwards she came back to Munich. In 1980 she transferred to NY, dealing with Melba Liston until 1983, when she became a member of Billy Harper’s quintet with whom she toured thoroughly. She’s also caused Clifford Jordan, Cecil Payne, Costs Hardman and Erica Lindsay, network marketing leads her very own quintet and co-leads the Erica Lindsay/ Howard Johnson Quintet. She actually is also an excellent composer.
