A talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose soulful folk-pop tracks invoke brands like Seinabo Sey, Tom Odell, London Sentence structure, and Gabrielle Aplin, Sophie Frances Cooke, known professionally as Frances, spent her formative years in Newbury, Berkshire before learning music on the Liverpool Institute for the Executing Arts. She released her debut EP, Grow, via Communion Information in July 2015, implemented later that Oct by another EP, ALLOW IT Out. 8 weeks afterwards she was shortlisted for the 2016 Brit Honours and nominated for the BBC Sound of 2016. Frances shipped her debut record, Things I’ve Under no circumstances Said, at the start of 2017.
