Foxing

Led by singer Conor Murphy, atmospheric, introspective indie rock and roll group Foxing produced in 2011 following the dissolution of Hunter Gatherer, a post-rock task that acquired common members including bass player Josh Coll and drummer Jon Hellwig. Foxing released an EP entitled Old Music in 2012. Their debut LP, The Albatross, found its way to 2013 on indie label Count number Your Lucky Celebrities Records, and got strings, saxophones, and brass fleshing out their lush acoustic guitar palette. The lineup of Murphy, Coll, Hellwig, and guitarists Eric Hudson and Ricky Sampson quickly authorized with Triple Crown Information, which released the band’s second full-length, the likewise expansive and murky Seller, in Oct 2015.
