Senior high school friends Bob O’Gureck (vocals, guitar) and Randy Staley (guitar, backing vocals) initial played in a fresh Jersey music group called the Clowns in the middle-’80s. The Clowns split up in 1989, but O’Gureck and Staley held in contact, and later produced ethereal popsters Fossil with guitarist Neil Moscaritolo (afterwards bassist). After two schedules at CBGB’s, the music group was provided a management offer by Hilly Kristal. Immediately after, Sire agreed upon the music group; Fossil began documenting and after their drummer still left, Tom Cottone agreed upon on. The Crumb EP premiered in past due 1994 and a self-titled debut record followed immediately after.
