The Seattle-based pop/rock act Forgive Durden were formed in 2003 by leader vocalist/guitarist Thomas Dutton. Desperate to become more severe along with his songwriting, Dutton quickly discovered kindred musical spirits in schoolmate/bassist Jesse Bauer and drummer Andy Mannino. The trio debuted in Sept 2004 with an individually released seven-song EP, IF YOU ARE Alone, YOU ARE NOT Alone. Following the addition of second guitarist Thomas Hunter towards the lineup, the quartet hopped on the highway to get the record. Forgive Durden eventually caught the attention of Fueled by Ramen, inking a cope with the label by the finish of 2005. Documenting once more with manufacturer Casey Bates, the band’s conceptual label debut, Wonderland, surfaced the next May. The record was a cultural commentary in the globe of capitalism, greed, and problem metaphorically built throughout the fictitious Wonderland. Several tour schedules with famous brands Panic! on the Disco, the Fits, and Gatsbys American Wish implemented, and Forgive Durden became a member of the Warped Tour that same summertime. Dutton’s bandmates ultimately quit the music group, leaving him because the exclusive member. Keeping the Forgive Durden moniker, Dutton enlisted help from his sibling and established to focus on a musical, acquiring influence from movies like Moulin Rouge as well as the Newsies. The effect was Razia’s Darkness: A Musical, a 2008 discharge that highlighted cameos by Potential Bemis (State Anything), Greta Salpeter (the Hush Audio), Aaron Weiss (mewithoutYou), and Chris Conley (Saves your day).
