Force of Evil

The Danish rock supergroup Drive of Evil was pieced jointly in 2002 by vocalist Martin Steene (Iron Fireplace), guitarists Hank Shermann (Brats, Mercyful Destiny, Zoser Mez) and Michael Denner (Brats, Mercyful Destiny, King Gemstone, Zoser Mez), bassist Hasse “Hal” Patino (Ruler Gemstone, Maltese Falcon), and drummer Bjarne T. Holm (Gutrix, Mercyful Destiny, Trojan 7). Their objective: to revisit the traditional noises of ’80s steel with extremely Mercyful Fate-like gothic overtones, that they achieved with an eponymous 2003 debut another album, Dark Empire, in 2005. But provided their many parallel band problems, don’t expect Drive of Bad to attempt any worldwide travels or consider their union as well significantly; until further see, this is apparently a laid-back aspect project for any involved.
