Food Pyramid

An experimental, Krautrock-inspired trio away of Minneapolis, MN, Meals Pyramid features multi-instrumentalists C. Farstak, C. Hontona, and M. Weather conditions (aka Chris Farstad, Chris Hontos, and Michael Wethington, respectively). Sketching inspiration from from gamelan to film ratings to Latin jazz to Ash Ra Tempel, the group released I, the initial album of a well planned trilogy, being a cassette on Moonglyph this year 2010. II implemented in Dec of 2010 and III ultimately surfaced in Oct of 2012. Along with different collaborative produces and one-off cassette albums, the music group offered up even more formal album-like recordings with 2012’s Mango Sunrise and 2013’s Ecstacy and Refinement.
