Folk Angel

Dallas-based Folk Angel focus on Christmas songs, issuing an annual holiday EP, a tradition that began in ’09 2009. The music group, Jeff Capps, Ryan Duckworth, Caleb Carruth, and Hunter Hall, provides an eclectic mixture of banjo, Dobros, acoustic guitars, xylophones, keyboards, bells, as well as musical saws to mainly traditional advent materials, giving everything a nice and folky twist. Documenting each year’s installment in Carruth’s cellar studio room, Folk Angel released their initial full-length Christmas record, Comfort & Pleasure: Christmas Music, Vol. 3, in 2013.
