Folger Consort

The Folger Consort can be an early music ensemble from the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. The group was founded in 1976 by lutenist/guitarist/harpist Christopher Kendall, also to today he and fellow founding member and viol and recorder participant Robert Eisenstein type the core from the ensemble. Having fulfilled as learners at Ohio’s Antioch University, Kendall and Eisenstein quickly thereafter formed an organization that became the citizen music ensemble for the Folger Library.
