Calling their strap “F*ck Off Police force Car” and their big sole “Burn off South Africa” designed these were never likely to become mainstream, but that was never important because of this South African post-hardcore strap created in Bellville, close to Cape Town, in August 2003. The easy act of developing an Afrikaner punk rock-band at the same time when the vocabulary was both deeply unfashionable and experiencing all-time low prestige due to its organizations with the aged apartheid regime talks quantities for the chutzpah of its users. They released the acoustic-flavored EP Monoloog in Stereo system (“Monologue in Stereo system”) and two full-length albums, 2004’s Lugsteuring (“Atmosphere Disruption”) and 2006’s Swanesang (“Swansong”), which highlighted the one “Brand Suid-Afrika” (“Burn off South Africa”) using the memorable lyrics “You complain about the condition of our country/Well f*cking do something positive about it/Burn off South Africa.” In 2007 the music group continued hiatus and its own members formed several side tasks including Truck Coke Cartel, aKING, and Die Heuwels Fantasties (“The Hillsides Fantastic”). In 2008 they re-formed to concern a fresh EP, Antibiotika (“Antibiotics”), and a documentary film in ’09 2009 informing the music group’s tale, Forgive Them for They Find out Not really What They Perform.
