The Montreal-based quartet Fly Pan Am may be the main project of Godspeed You Dark Emperor’s guitarist Roger Tellier-Craig. While both these groups offer in complicated, musique concrete-influenced instrumental items, Fly Skillet Am pursues a far more restrained, minimalist musical eyesight. The group’s break up seven-inch with Godspeed You Dark Emperor, L’Espace Au Sol Est Redessine Par Des Immenses Panneaux Bleus/Sunlight + Gas, preceded their 1999 self-titled full-length debut, that was released on Constellation Information — also the house of GYBE. The sophomore work Sedatif en Frequences et Sillons was released in fall 2000. 2 yrs later, Fly Skillet Am released Ceux Qui Inventent N’ont Jamais Vacu.
