San Diego’s Fluf play good-hearted punk-pop in the vein of Sugars and Dinosaur Jr. Guitarist/vocalist O. and bassist Josh Higgins experienced performed in Olivelawn, but created fluf in 1992 with a fresh drummer, Kilometers Gillett. The trio documented a slew of seven-inch singles (gathered on 1995’s The Vintage Years), but finally released a debut recording on Headhunter/Cargo in middle-1993. The recording confusingly had independent titles for every format (Compact disc, cassette and vinyl), but is definitely popularly referred to as Mangravy. Second recording Home Improvements made an appearance early the next year, as do Compact Disc Is definitely Weak. Waikiki adopted in 1997, and a yr later on the group came back with Road Trend.
