Floyd “Dipper Boy” Council

b. 2 Sept 1911, Chapel Hill, NEW YORK, USA, d. June 1976, Sanford, NEW YORK, USA. Sometimes referred to as Dipper Boy or The Devil’s Daddy-In-Law, Council discovered to try out blues acoustic guitar (and in addition mandolin) in his youngsters and played within the roads of his city in a little music group. In 1937, he was noticed in this area by a skill scout, which resulted in his making information. Following two classes in NY, three discs had been released, along with a later on session produced an additional two edges that stay unissued. On a great many other information, he performed second acoustic guitar to Blind Son Fuller, and his design was in the favorite east coastline vein connected with that designer. Indeed, a few of his information had been sub-credited to Blind Boy Fuller’s Friend. He continued to try out for quite some time, although he didn’t record again.
