Flipsyde

Combining together rap, rock and roll, political awareness, and introspection, the Bay Area’s Flipsyde use their diverse backgrounds to generate ambitious, revolutionary music. MC Piper (referred to as No the Piper back his Contra Costa University days) was created to some Brazilian dad and discovered the Portuguese vocabulary we were young. Vocalist Steve Knight was created in Alabama and do a tour of responsibility within the U.S. Coastline Safeguard. Guitarist Dave Lopez originally emigrated towards the U.S. from Chile while DJ D-Sharp have been mixed up in globe of mixtapes and experienced worked with famous brands Blackalicious and Lyrics Delivered before signing up for Flipsyde. Piper and Knight got known each other for some time when they fulfilled Lopez at an Oakland rehearsal studio room in 2003. Lopez noticed a monitor Piper and Knight have been working on known as “Someday.” He produced some recommendations, which converted into a jam, which converted into a music group, which became Flipsyde. D-Sharp was another recruit and soon their demonstration of “Someday” was getting the chat of West Coastline A&R departments. Interscope Information made an give and released the group’s debut, We individuals, in July of 2005.
