Flick can be an adult-alternative pop/rock and roll music group hailing from Stockton, Missouri led by brothers Oran and Trevor Thornton. Oran and Trevor started playing playing music as kids, obtaining solace in music following the tragic loss of life of their old sibling Brad in an automobile crash. The brothers performed individually, with Oran developing Johnny Q. General public when he was 14. As he was touring with Johnny Q. General public, he also performed on information by DC Chat. Trevor was operating like a single musician, and he’d occasionally open up for Johnny Q. General public when the music group played the neighborhood city of Springfield, backed by various users of the group. Ultimately, the brothers started carrying out as an acoustic duo around Springfield, Missouri. They quickly decided to type a full-fledged music group known as Flick, recruiting bassist Eve Hill from the neighborhood clothing Sweaty Betty and adding drummer Paul Adam McGrath through auditions. In Dec 1996, Flick performed their first live display and by the springtime of 1997, that they had documented an EP with maker Joe Baldridge, whom Oran experienced fulfilled during his times with Johnny Q. General public. The EP — originally known as Booger but sensibly retitled Flick — was offered at regional gigs and helped them protected their agreement with Columbia Information. Soon afterward, the group was starting for acts just like the Cardigans, Duncan Sheik and Meredith Brooks. Flick released their full-length debut recording, AN IDEAL Kellulight, in the summertime of 1998.
