First formed being a Discharge-derived hardcore band in 1987, over time and many demo tapes, Sweden’s Flegma incorporated thrash metal tendencies to their music, which, with the release of 1992’s Blind Approval debut, was drawing comparisons to Motörhead as well as death metal compatriots like Entombed. Subsequently, 1994’s sophomore Flesh to Dirt betrayed several brand-new gothic hallmarks, which finished up pointing just how toward vocalist Kalle Metz, guitarist Martin Olsson, and bassist Richard Lion’s following band task, Tenebre. Second guitarist Jörgen Lindhe and drummer Martin Brorsson, alternatively, vanished into obscurity following the band’s demise.
