Flávia Virgínia

Girl of Djavan, Flávia Virgínia recorded tracks by her dad; at 16, she documented “Curumim” on Djavan (1988). Like a support vocalist, she toured with Marisa Monte and Child Abelha; made an appearance in the Rock and roll In Rio II Event performing with Elba Ramalho; documented with Gal Costa and Maria Bethânia; and performed as well as Ivan Lins, Marcus Miller, and Al Jarreau. Virgínia penned all of the tracks of her debut recording, Livro-Mãe (2001), which got the involvement of several performers, including Djavan and Armandinho.
