Fjaak

German digital trio Fjaak make traveling, energetic dance paths starting from reflective deep home to storming warehouse techno, with occasional U.K. garage area, dub, and breakbeat hardcore affects. Gritty however sensual, their paths are composed completely on analog tools. Located in Berlin, Felix Wagner, Aaron Röbig, and Kevin Kozicki have been producing music jointly since years as a child before they started creating techno as Fjaak through the past due 2000s, while these were still teens. Their first discharge was 2012 digital EP Launch on Baalsaal Information, which was implemented in 2013 by their initial vinyl releases, Keep in mind Me (Klasse Recordings) and Brain Games (Baalsaal). Pursuing another discharge for Klasse, 2014’s Po’ Folk, Fjaak agreed upon to Modeselektor’s 50 Weaponry imprint and released many 12″ singles, including a divide discharge with Rødhåd. When 50 Weapons folded in 2015, Fjaak shifted to Modeselektor’s primary label, Monkeytown. One “Wolves” attained the finish of 2016, as well as the monitor appeared for the trio’s self-titled debut full-length in early 2017.
