Fixkes

A Belgian music group that combined acoustic pop and hip-hop to — relatively — quick success, Fixkes were shaped in Antwerp, Belgium, in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Sam Valkenborgh and his sibling, drummer Jan Valkenborgh. Quickly rounding out the regular membership with fellow players Peter Deckers (acoustic guitar and harmonica), Johan Pauwels (bass), and Bart Palmers (piano), Fixkes (the name originated from a nickname directed at Sam Valkenborgh at a age) authorized a cope with Dutch Excelsior Recordings in early 2007. Within per month, Fixkes experienced their debut solitary on the road.
